810 Blogging Lab

Technology is a foreign creature to me.  I think it is a wonderful resource and cannot wait to embrace it.
After doing a little research, I have decided that there are a few main differences between websites and blogs. I am new to both, so this should be an exciting ride.
Blogs - I feel that blogs are more interactive and personal.  You can track followers and  followers can post comments to your comments.  Information on blogs can be both personal and professional.  I think that I am going to enjoy the interactive portion of blogs.  I love discussion and feedback so  I feel that this is right up my alley.
Websites – To me, websites are more “official” and contain professional documents for individuals to read.  There is little interaction and feel more formal to me.  I have had more exposure to websites so they are more comfortable to me.

  1. Here's hoping you get the blogging bug and find lots of use for blogs in your classroom.
